The retired Teamsters donned iconic matching jackets as they rallied together to support the pro-worker, pro-union Harris-Walz ticket
CHICAGO – On night two of the Democratic National Convention, retired Teamster Ken Stribling took the stage, flanked by dozens of retired Teamsters to highlight how the Harris-Walz ticket is fighting for all working Americans. Stribling, a retired truck driver, was joined by fellow Teamsters who traveled from Michigan, Georgia, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, Wisconsin, Ohio, Tennessee, Missouri, Minnesota, North Dakota, and Oklahoma in support of Vice President Harris and Governor Walz.
Today’s remarks follow a unified show of support from organized labor on night one of the convention. Leaders of several of the largest labor unions in the country spoke from the main stage during primetime, highlighting the Biden-Harris Administration’s pro-labor record and the Harris-Walz ticket’s commitment to building on those achievements. Tonight’s Teamsters appearance represents the broad support of rank and file union workers for Vice President Harris and Governor Walz in their fight to deliver a future where every American has the opportunity not just to get by, but to get ahead.
